The Bothersome Man: Best Movie I’ve Seen in Years
Film August 23rd, 2007The Bothersome Man, winner of awards at Cannes and The Norwegian Film Festival, is the best and most brilliantly conceived and excecuted movie I’ve seen in a long time. I can’t describe it at all without giving it away, because the entire arc of the plot is so singular and beautiful. I learned about it through Film Movement, which I heartily recommend subscribing to. It is today finally receiving it’s theatrical release in the US. It is also coming out on DVD November 1, and I suppose you can probably rent it then. I hope you find time for it. It reminds me of how powerful movies can be.
