The Bothersome Man, winner of awards at Cannes and The Norwegian Film Festival, is the best and most brilliantly conceived and excecuted movie I’ve seen in a long time. I can’t describe it at all without giving it away, because the entire arc of the plot is so singular and beautiful. I learned about it through Film Movement, which I heartily recommend subscribing to. It is today finally receiving it’s theatrical release in the US. It is also coming out on DVD November 1, and I suppose you can probably rent it then. I hope you find time for it. It reminds me of how powerful movies can be.
